Meet the Student
Paul Gallagher
I was born and raised in South Jersey in the small town of Linwood. I attended Saint Augustine Prep High School in Richland, NJ where I was a three-time varsity letter winner in both rowing and swimming, which I was the captain of. In high school I was a part of the business club and the Hermit Ambassador Society. Here at UD I am on the Varsity swim team and also a leadership major. I have an internship with Fishermen's Energy, an offshore wind company based in Atlantic City, NJ. In the summers I am a beach lifeguard in Longport, NJ and this summer will be my fifth year on the patrol.

Our team is interested in how we can provide fresh food to Wilmington, DE. Many areas of this city are considered "Food Deserts" - or populations with limited or no access to healthy foods. We want to design a product that makes the best use of space and people's resources.Learn more about this project and its progress:
